There is no such place as Comfortable.
Most of our thoughts, words and actions in life are driven from a desire to be comfortable. Rarely do we put aside our fears, doubts and beliefs and go after the truth of our hearts desires. Most of us believe we are seeking what we want but in essence are only going after what would make us feel comfortable.
Here is the clanger - comfortable does not exist! What! I hear you say. Of course it exists!

Why Do We React?
Ever wondered why you react the way you do? Ever been surprised or shocked at other people’s reactions or over reactions. Most of us are unaware that we react to ever circumstance in life without even thinking about it. We are unconsciously running a pattern.
We all like to think we are in control of our lives and that we have free will. If that is true, then why is it we cannot stop our reactions to life? Read more
Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde?
There are many opinions about the set up of the human psyche. I have enjoyed exploring my own psyche and would like to share with you one view. It is of course only one of many interpretations however worth considering.
We have two Natures – two Orientations in life:
(1) Our Identity – which we created as children from our experiences of life.
Sometimes referred to as our Ego or Egoic orientation.
Our Identity communicates with us through our thoughts and feelings.
(2) Our True Nature and Purpose – our true purpose in life.
Sometimes referred to as our heart, our soul or our Soul Orientation.
Our True Nature and Purpose communicates to us through intuition.

I Can Sing A Rainbow
For so long I have believed I didn’t have a good voice. It may have been because my hubby said “deb, you don’t have a good voice”. Doh! The thing is, I love to sing. So I connected up with a great friend of mine, Maureen Strudwick, who is a singing teacher. The special thing about Maureen is she is also a Magician. That is, she has the ability to use intuition to better understand my fears and doubts as I open my heart to sing. My first lesson was an absolute eye opener. I thought she was going to kick me out of there. Truly! But she surprised me with “you’ve got a great voice”. Yeah right! But she insisted. So I opened to the potentiality of being able to bring my heart into the world through my voice.
The Weird Wild Web and Blogging
I have always thought the web was a difficult world to play in. I assumed I needed to learn how to build or at least maintain a web site to have a quality web presence. How wrong I was!
Recently I completed a blogging course created by my good friend and web wonder woman, Belinda Jackson. It has enabled me to set up this fancy web site (blog) all by myself.
As most of you know I love sharing my adventures in life. Let’s face it, life is an incredible journey! Blogging seems to be a great way to share thoughts, wisdom and ideas with the world. What has been your experience with the weird wide web and blogging?
Deb, Steve and Sammi Star
My Fabulous Family
This is a photo of my gorgeous man (Steve) and my beautiful daughter (Sammi Star).
Our family was created and added to over the last 18 years. I moved to the Central Coast to live with Steve in 1990. We were married in 2000 and we were joined by our little Sammi Star in 2002. Together we learn, grow, laugh, cry and explore life and it’s incredible opportunities. I can’t imagine life any other way.
Steve is following his heart by trading the stock market and learning about Astrology and Astronomy. Steve is a stay at home dad who is fast becoming an expert in the kitchen. I am working as a consultant in the corporate world as well as exploring the world of true health and personal growth. Sammi is exploring life at the Steiner school and hanging out with Mum and Dad.
Steve and His Feather Duster
Once known as the Captain, Steve is now known as the Feather Dusting Nancy Boy. He can be seen with his favourite flower undies on his head (you know the ones..little old lady undies that go all the way to your belly button).
He dances around with his feather duster listening to Bonny Tyler. What a man!
